Below is a list of events planned throughout the year, most will be held at the Town Hall (5 Sunset Drive, Stuyvesant). We hope you will be able to join us for a few!
Veterans’ Park Fundraiser — March 22nd @ VFW in Stuyvesant Falls
Tickets are $15/person includes spaghetti, meatballs, bread, salad, dessert, and beverages
Tickets available from Town Clerk until March 15th
Easter Egg Hunt — April 12th 1pm – 3pm @ Town Hall
FREE event for children of Stuyvesant and surrounding communities. Games, Crafts, Treats,
Egg Hunt, and a visit from a Special Guest!
Trash Day — May 3rd 8am – 3pm @ Sharptown Road salt shed site
FREE for residents of Stuyvesant. Punchcards will be available beginning April 15th. Bring proof of residency to the Town Clerk’s Office to get your card. The proof needs to show your physical address.
Veterans’ Park Groundbreaking — TENTATIVE DATE — May 24 @ Town Hall
We will hold a groundbreaking and small ceremony to kick off the construction of the new park
on the grounds of the Town Hall. A small reception will immediately follow
Big Truck Day & Vendor Event — June 21st — 12-4pm @ Town Hall
FREE event — come look at the big vehicles that serve our communities — firetrucks, police cars, garbage trucks, tractors, and MORE! There will also be sales and craft vendors and food! If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact the Town Clerk, Melissa Naegeli, at TownClerk@stuyvesantny.us
Historic Stuyvesant Day — August 9th – Noon – 3pm @ Town Hall
FREE event — topic this year is “Transportation — Getting Around Stuyvesant Through The Years” Town Historian Cathy Knott will have all kinds of interesting information, pictures, and artifacts from the archives. There will also be a community picnic — the Town will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and beverages. Please bring a dish to share. Halloween Party — October 25th – 1-3pm @ Town Hall
FREE event for children of Stuyvesant and surrounding communities. Crafts, Games, Goodies,
Costume Parade & Prizes. Volunteers are always needed to help decorate and set up (on Oct 24th), run games, monitor the craft table, watch the goodies table, and help to clean up after party. Please contact Cathy Knott if you would like to volunteer — CKnott@stuyvesantny.us
Children’s Christmas Party — December 13th @ Town Hall
