It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our Town Historian, Juanita Knott. The Historic Stuyvesant Day picnic scheduled for August 10th has been cancelled. It will be rescheduled for a later date this Fall.
Hello Stuyvesant, The Town of Stuyvesant became an official township in April 1823. It was formerly a part of the 10-mile square that had been portioned as the Township of Kinderhook.
