Stuyvesant Falls Fire Company is celebrating 100 Years!

The Stuyvesant Falls Fire Company will be hosting an Open House to celebrate our 100th anniversary.

The event will be held at our firehouse at 9 Firehouse Lane from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 12. Parking for the event will be at the Stuyvesant Falls VFW grounds located at 845 County Route 25 in Stuyvesant Falls. A shuttle bus will be provided for those who are not able to walk the ¼ mile to the firehouse.

There will be demonstrations, an historic display, public service offerings from Valatie Rescue Squad, the Columbia County 911 office, our local police agencies, and more. The firehouse facility will be open to the public and firefighters will be available there and all our fire trucks to show off our equipment and capabilities.

There will be free refreshments offered (while they last). Commemorative T-shirts and mugs will be available to purchase (also while supplies last). DJ Jeff Outlette will be playing music throughout the afternoon.

There will be a bounce house, photo opportunities, and other fun and games for kids and adults alike.

At 6:00 P.M., the Ghent Band, one of New York States oldest community bands will put on a free concert for all.

Please come and join us for an hour or for the day as we celebrate 100 years of continuous service to our community!
