The Town of Stuyvesant is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms or teams to prepare a Natural and Cultural Resources Inventory (NRI) for the town. The NRI will provide comprehensive, accessible information on the location, significance, and condition of Stuyvesant’s natural and cultural resources, and will serve as a foundational tool to guide land use planning, conservation, and climate resilience efforts.
The RFP for interested consultants can be accessed here RFP NRI Consultant Services
and proposals are due Friday, January 23, 2026.
The NRI is intended to complement the town’s recently completed Comprehensive Plan and contribute data and analysis to support countywide conservation planning efforts.
This project has been funded in part by a grant from the New York State Environmental Protection Fund through the Hudson River Estuary Program of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and will be supported at the town level by a volunteer NRI Steering Committee.
If you are interested in volunteering with the town’s NRI Steering Committee, please reach out to Keegan Oneal (keeganoneal@gmail.com)”
